1. RACK Description
The housing for Digitec board is the RACK in alluminium with black frontal anodizate. It can lodge 3 european double size board .The RACK dimension is 20 TE X 6HE .On deep of RACK is assembled A Backplane (DIGITEC board 020.0) ,which have to interconect the RACK board.
If we look the rack from left to right we will find in sequential:
- 021.0 Power Supply, Encoders Linea, AUX, Motor, I/O digital and analogue signals
- 013.2 AR02 CPU PROFIBUS-DP
- 045.0 Cutting management
We can connect on the rack card (by a serial connect) 4 card 012.1,which provide to remote 16 input and 16 output (totale max. 64 input and 64 output). This card can be assembly on guide DIN.
2. Power supply card 021.0
The three voltage necessary for the rack (+5V, +12V, -12V) are provide by the power supply and connect with the other rack card by the backplane, which is behind the rack.The +5V power supply have a voltage range that is between 18V and 36V automatic selected. It can supply a max current like 3A (power 15W).The correct functin can be ensure only if it work in a temperature between 0”C and 70”C. From the power supply (+5V) we have +12V and –12V supply. The max current supply for this voltage are:
The green led +24V in top of thi card undicate the voltage 24V presence.
On front of this,are allocate all the connector and terminal boards of interface with the segnal from field.
In particular:
- connector X1: input line encoder
- connector X2: input auxiliary encoder
- connector X3: input motor encoder
- terminal board X4: input digital
- terminal board X5: output digital
- terminal board X6: connection with serial I/O
- terminal board X7: couple analogic input
- terminal board X8: general power supply
- terminal board X9: ok CPU in run
3. Card 013.2 CPU
The card 013.2 is a CPU on Bus AT96. On front are allocate this connector :
AUX: for mouse
KBD: for keyboard
COMM1: for serial 1 connection
COMM2: for serial 2 connection
VGA : for VGA monitor
PARALLEL PORT: for paralle connection
ETHERNET: for Ethernet connection
In the hardisk, (type; ATA card PCMCIA,) are memoreized the software for all cut system manegement, it can
be easy take off by press the black key in the near.You can also install the modul for field bus (device net,
profibus, etc.)
In the front board are allocate:
One RUN/STOP selector for start and stop of process manegement and a reset key for system restart. Is not
indicate to press the reset key while the machine is working.
On the front top are foreseen sex leds. They can visualize this function states:
led PW: power presence +5V
led RU: indicate the system cut manegement function (on)
led ER: indicate an error on system
led SYS OK: indicate the relé state for rack consens
led WD: watch dog
led HD: indicate the hard disk access
On front board is foreseen a rotative layer that is not use yet.
The battery buffer, installed inside the board,can let you memorize the productive date even without power; The battery is guarantee for ten years.
Inside the board are allocate eight dip-switch that mustnt be reconfigurate, forfeiture the system function.
