DESCRIPTION:
The Hotfix 1 for the Drive ES PCS7 V6.0 SP2 software can be downloaded with immediate effect.
The existing Hotfix 1 includes supplements to the SINAMICS product range for the use of the module drivers and faceplates included in Drive ES PCS7 V6.0 SP2.
Details:
Without installing the HF1, you cannot interconnect the newest SINAMICS drives (such as G120C) from the SIMATIC PCS7 module driver wizard because the XML knowledge required for these SINAMICS drives has not yet been acquired. This XML knowledge is reinstalled by installing the HF1.
Installation requirements:
This setup is a mere hotfix setup.
That means, the following installations are required as a minimum:
- Drive ES PCS7 V6.0 SP2 and
- SIMATIC PCS7 V6.0
SINAMICS drives supported:
With the HF1, the module driver now supports the integration of the following SINAMICS drives, some of which can only be supported on the basis of a GSD integration.
Note:
For SINAMICS G120 drives with CU 2xx-2 (firmware >4.x), the SINA_GS_Block must be used, for SINAMICS G120 drives with CU 2xx (firmware <4.x), the SINAG120.
